I have been making faux flower arrangements for the last 25 years. Silk flowers didn't exist back as there was only plastic flowers. But I found that if I dipped them in Dulux paint they came out looking like porcelain. They looking amazing!

Today I only use the best quality faux flowers I can find, most of which are imported directly from Europe, combined with a wide range of complementary containers sourced from all over.

I hope you will like my flowers. I go to great lengths to ensure that all my arrangements look incredibly natural and real, which requires both the best quality flowers available, a kean eye, and an art in arranging them so the stems and leaves curl and fall as they do in nature.

Please use registered mail as we cannot be responsible for any item that does not reach us. Please notify us by email of a return to customerservice@sylviahague.com and we will send you a returns number and details of where to send the goods.

MY GIFT WRAPPING SERVICE FOR SPECIAL OCCASSIONS
It can be a chore looking for the right present to give someone, be it for a birthday, anniversary or just to say thank you. But everybody loves flowers and my faux flowers, particularly the smaller ones, make wonderful gifts. Gifts are all handwrapped in wrapping paper and tied with a silk ribbon, and includes a handwritten Jenny card and of course no invoice.

While we aim to deliver within 5 working days, some items (particularly the water illusion arrangements) can take several days to cure (for the acrylic 'water' to set), so please allow anywhere up to 12 working days for delivery.

CARING FOR YOUR FLOWERS
There are several ways to keep your silk flowers looking lovely and fresh. A quick dust every now and then works wonders - I use my old hair dryer as it is easier and quicker and a quick zap does wonders. You can also use a damp cloth on the orchids and leaves if required.
If you are like me, I change my house flowers according to season, hiding the out of season flowers in a closet until their next season. Wrap them completely in a see through plastic bag and seal with a rubber band. This keeps them dust and damp free, fresh and ready for next season.

MAXIMISE YOUR FLOWER IMPACT
The way to get the most out of my articifial flower arrangements is to work by room. In the living room and kitchen where people tend to spend most of their time mix real with artificial (use artificial for those areas where fresh flowers don't survive)
For the rest of the house I use artificial. Statement peices (large arrangements) are always visually stunning in rooms like the living room, hall, conservatory and/or dining room. In guestrooms, bedrooms, kitchen and bathrooms go for smaller more subtle arrangements like the roses in artificial water as they add extra freshness and sparkle to a room.
Remember to occassionally move your arrangements around (to a different room or corner for example) to limit flower fatigue and keep your arrangements looking fresh.
Many of my customers build a collection of my flower arrangements over time, storing and showcasing different arranegments at different times of the year depending on the season. It works well.
